Hopefully she'll enjoy gardening as she gets older as much as I do! Of course, right now all she likes to do is pull the flowers off.... a big NO NO when Momma is around:)



Many of you know that Addison is a girly girl already. And that includes being totally different than boys in terms of the outside world. We are slowly trying to get her to sit, stand, be near grass without freaking out. Here she is for the first time of grass without crying. (We were SUPER proud of her mini accomplishment!) Not sure if her hiney is actually touching the ground. :)

Well, many of you know that I'm a tad bit of a perfectionist. :) We got Addie's pics (hey, there was a free coupon!) and they turned out ok. Thanks Jamie Nuss for her purple tutu. I can't wait to see Ivy and Addie in a couple of years running around with their tutus on...

Pray for my niece, Erin

Please pray for my niece, Erin. She is just a few months older than Addison and was airlifted last Sunday to a Children's Hospital in NC for heart failure. Basically, a virus quickly attacked her heart and right now they are looking at life long meds and/or heart transplant. Today they are weaning her off of the ventilator and sedation meds to see if her heart will tolerate it. I cannot imagine what my brother and sister-in-law (Scott and Leslie) are going through. I know that God is a good God, he is in control and I pray for strength for Scott and Leslie as they go through this. Best Friends (Well, sort of...)

Addison loves Buster. She squeals in delight when she sees him outside playing, she gets a big smile when he comes in to greet her after waking up, and she just loves to play on the couch next to him. And, the good dog that he is, he just tolerates it. Here are a few pics we took outside of the two.... I think they are precious. I hope he will be a good guard dog for her as she gets older:)

March Snow!

Well, it was in the 80s a few weeks ago and yesterday we had 7 inches of snow. As weird as it may sound, I love that about Oklahoma weather! Here are a few pics from the snow. She wasn't too interested:)
