Dentist and Random Pics

We took Addison to the dentist for the first time today. I was a little nervous about it, but she walked in and hopped right up on the chair! Of course, when they asked her to open her mouth she wouldn't! When Dr. O came over to check her out, she did open her mouth and then cried as he checked her teeth. It was over quickly and after we got in the car, she said, "More dentist??" She did the same thing last time she got her shots. She just wanted more stickers!
Examining her new toothbrush

Proudly showing her new snake. Of all the things to pick out of the treasure chest. I thought she'd go for something girly!?!

She's 3 months old today! She's been talking to us a lot lately. I love this stage. When she sees my face after a nap, she usually gives me a big smile and starts talking to me!

This is my life right now... Two kiddos in diapers and Buster:)

Drawing Poppa

When Nana came to stay with us when Emma was born, she drew Poppa one time for Addison. Since then, we have been drawing Poppa's face EVERY day for two months now! When we were talking to Nana and Poppa tonight on Skype, she said she wanted to draw him. I thought it was pretty good for a 2 year-old!

Memorial Day

We had a great day with Daddy home! First, the girls stayed home with him while my friend Missy and I team taught a super kick-your-butt class. This was after class... should have gotten one before all the sweat!
Sunday night we attempted to go to our neighborhood pool. Unfortunately, swim diapers don't hold much water and our girl drinks a TON. So, as our internet guy was here fixing our computer, she went through two diapers, peed on the floor, and then we didn't have any more swim diapers left! So sad. Look how cute she looked!

So, yesterday I got her a new inflatable pool from Walmart for $15! It's huge, too! I think Scott actually had just as much fun as Addison. Hopefully this made up for the night before when we couldn't go! Later we went to Missy's house. She LOVED the trampoline!

Baby sis as always-just hanging out!

Tulsa Zoo Trip

We went to the Tulsa Zoo this morning. We went early, but it was still HOT!! Addison loved petting the goats and enjoyed the camel ride. She wasn't afraid AT ALL-she walked right up the steps to the camel and hopped on without even looking back to see where I was!

Yes, they have a place where you can thoroughly wash your hands!

Emma didn't even know she was at the zoo!

Outside Pics

After I finished mowing the grass tonight, I got a few pics of Addie playing outside. (YES, I mow the grass sometimes! It's one of the few times that my pale body gets to see the sun!) She loves this big car. She was too busy to sit still for long!

On another note, I have been super busy lately that I haven't watched much TV at all. Scott has been loving it-he is watching basketball every night! So, what am I doing?
It's been a week since I started and I'm already on the last book in the series. I'm really enjoying reading and I don't even like reading! And, it's a little crazy how 3 of my friends and I talked about this book for a good while at dinner last night!
Anyway, loving Edward. Loving their love story. Can't wait to see how it ends.

Rain Boots and Tornado Siren!

We had some rain today, so Addison decided she needed to put her rain boots and hat on while she played inside.

She still loves her baby dolls and plays with them constantly. She even pretended her little toy vacuum was a baby yesterday-she flung it over her shoulder and was trying to burp it!

Tonight we've had a good line of thunderstorms come our way. The tornado siren has gone off twice so far, but not for long. I can't remember the last time the sirens went off near our house. I think it was before Addison was born! So, we piled into our guest bathroom, making sure that Addison had something fun to do while we waited!

Yummy Lasagna Rolls

Do you ever find yourself fixing the same things each month for dinner? I do! I've been searching for new, different recipes on foodnetwork.com and came across this delicious meal from Giada De Laurentiis. I was actually looking for another recipe of hers that I didn't find, but this was great!

*I love this website because you can read everyone's comments to see how you need to change it before you try it! I made twice the amount of white sauce (as everyone suggested) and instead of using whole milk, ricotta cheese, and proscuitto I used 2% milk, low fat cottage cheese and deli ham I already had in the refrigerator.
Enjoy!
