JBF Sale!

We had our big Just Between Friends sale this weekend! You have NO idea how excited I get. If you don't live around here, you simply have NO idea what you're missing! 60,000 square feet, 1500 consignors, and 200,000 items.... I was in heaven! I was there 9-2:30 and I didn't even go through clothes for Emma! I didn't get a lot of big items this year, but I did find a cute rocker for $10 (Scott will get a new sander out of it so he's really excited!), rainforest jumper for Emma for $28, and a really awesome kitchen for my friend Michelle for $35! Plus, we got tons of clothes for Addison and a new carseat for Emma this spring. I love finding those great bargains, especially Gap/Old Navy/Gymboree clothes for $5 that still have the tags on them!

The rocking chair will be a Christmas gift from Grammy when Scott sands and paints it. I love this picture. As Scott and I were cleaning around the house, Addison had decided to read her new Curious George book to Emma. She sat there for awhile, too. Future teacher in the making??

Random Pics Around the House

We haven't been doing much around here so I haven't been taking a lot of pictures. I was sick, Scott was sick, Emma had a few issues.... it was a long week last week!

Just hanging out around the house with Emma:

Somebody finally pooped in the potty twice in one day...of course, she often still wants a pull up on, but that's ok! Her special treat: ice cream

and getting her nails painted for the first time. It was such a nice, quiet, still activity that I could do with her while on the couch sick:)

I was getting into her fall/winter clothes to see what we have for this year. Someone wanted to get into them as well.

What would YOU wear if it was 103 degrees outside?? Addison prefers a sweater and underwear!

You are REALLY in a DEEP sleep when...

1) You fall asleep on the couch at 5pm watching Dora, your favorite show. Um, I don't think I've ever fallen asleep during a Real Housewives show on Bravo!

2) When Mommy vacuums the entire house, even around the couch where you're sleeping, you don't even move an inch. (And it's a LOUD vacuum!?!)
3) When we wake you up after Daddy gets home an hour later, you roll over deeper in the couch and really hope we just leave and let you sleep in peace. (Which is NOT what happened. Sorry about that. We don't want to be up until midnight with you still awake.)

And baby sister slept for 5 hours this afternoon. I was able to get the entire house cleaned, 4 loads of laundry folded and put away as well as yard work done. Wow. I forgot what it was like to be so productive in just ONE day! Now where's my bowl of ice cream to celebrate how much I did today...:)

Sensitive Ears

Buster doesn't like it when Emma cries and begins howling to let me know that I need to do something. I finally got a little bit of it on camera. No, I didn't let her cry that long. She was ready to get out!

On the other hand, I don't feel so bad...he has a GOOD life at this house! That's OUR bed:)

On another note, we started cereal this week. Um, I forgot how incredibly messy it is. She won't actually eat it unless she is sucking on her hands so it ends up everywhere, even her toes. Eww.

New Ride

Scott just got this from one of his co-workers and our little lady is loving her new ride!

Scott has been taking her to the pool that way and she loves going on bike rides now with Daddy. Emma and I drive because I'm lazy:) Emma loves the pool much more than Addison did at this age! She won't take a paci anymore but she sure does love those fingers!

So, after looking at those pictures for awhile, I have to ask...Where is Emma's hair?!?! :) I know she has a lot of hair compared to many babies, but compared to Addison at the same age, she's practically bald!! Here's Addison at 4 1/2 months old:

4 Month Pics

Well, this is a little late, but I finally got around to taking some pictures of our gal. She is now rolling over both ways and loves sucking on her entire hand! This chick always has her fingers in her mouth and rarely wants a pacifier. She loves talking to us and still gives big smiles when she sees us.
